Can single men adopt?

Yes. Single men or women may adopt in most states. Some states only allow married couples to adopt, but this is the exception. Unfortunately, many adoption agencies will not work with single people even when it is permitted
by the laws in their state. The IAC does not have any discriminatory policies for adoptive parents, including marital status.
